Founded in 2022 by Alika Steyn, the focus of the brand is to create investment pieces that are versatile, contemporary, and modern.
“My LOVE for clothes and fashion started from a very young age and since I can remember I was playing dress up and making clothes for my Barbies. I knew I had a unique style and that grew into my dream of starting my own fashion brand and designing pieces that I would wear. I am always looking for quality, contemporary, and modern styles with an exceptional good fit, but I rarely seem to find these pieces in local stores.
I wanted to create a brand of everyday classics for that modern woman that is seeking a practical and modern approach to style. I am passionate about the empowerment of women to be their best version of themselves, and I believe through fashion and clothes one can achieve that. I like to create pieces that woman can throw on and feel good in, whether you are at the office or at home, you automatically feel more confident when wearing pieces you feel good in. LIKA started as a side hustle, but ever since I have been retrenched from my full-time job, I`ve decided to take the big step and focus all my time and attention on the brand.”
